Nampa Man After Crash on US-20

CAMAS COUNTY, Idaho — A Nampa man was airlifted to a hospital following a crash on US-20 near Fairfield on September 2 at 12:18 p.m.

According to the Idaho State Police, a 2014 Freightliner semi-truck was traveling westbound near milepost 160 when it left the roadway onto the right shoulder. The 37-year-old driver overcorrected, re-entered the roadway, and tipped the semi onto its driver's side.

Emergency response teams, including the Camas County Sheriff's Office, Camas County Fire and EMS, Air St. Luke's, and the Idaho Transportation Department, worked at the scene. US-20 remained closed for two and a half hours as crews cleared the area.

The driver's condition has not been disclosed.
