A Fulton man died in a single-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon on Route Z.
At approximately 2:41 p.m., the 37-year-old was driving southbound in the 7300 block when his 2023 Nissan Rogue veered off the right side of the roadway, becoming airborne before striking an embankment.
The vehicle ultimately came to rest upright in a creek.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
No other vehicles were involved, and the incident is under investigation. Authorities noted that the roadway was closed during the response and recovery efforts, with no further injuries reported.
