ALBANY, Ohio (WCHS) — A two-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon in Meigs County resulted in the death of a 57-year-old man.
Michael Bunner, of Albany, was pronounced dead after being transported to Cabell Huntington Hospital, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Authorities said Bunner failed to yield at the intersection of U.S. 32 and Rutherford Road, subsequently colliding with another vehicle.
U.S. 32 was closed for approximately 30 minutes as emergency crews worked at the scene. The Ohio State Highway Patrol received assistance from Meigs County EMS, deputies, the Albany Fire Department, and local towing services.
The crash remains under investigation.
