One person died in a single-vehicle crash in Aiken County on Sept. 17.
The driver of a 2008 Lincoln MKZ was traveling north on Jaywood Road near Windsor at approximately 5:44 p.m. when the vehicle veered off the right side of the road, striking a ditch, according to Master Trooper Brandon Bolt of the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle. The Aiken County Coroner's Office will release the identity of the deceased, authorities said.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the incident.
