MINGO COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 119 in Mingo County on Monday.
Nicholas David Edwards, 29, of Delbarton, succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident near Duncan Fork Road, according to a news release from the West Virginia State Police.
Edwards was transported to a local hospital in South Williamson, Ky., where he was pronounced dead. His body will undergo an autopsy at the Kentucky State Medical Examiner's Office.
Authorities have not released further details about the crash, including the condition of any other involved parties or potential lane closures. The investigation is ongoing.
