ADA COUNTY — A medical emergency resulted in a single-vehicle rollover crash that blocked eastbound lanes of I-84 for several hours on Sunday morning.
The crash occurred at 8:15 a.m. at milepost 45 near Meridian, according to Idaho State Police (ISP). A 24-year-old man from Caldwell was driving a 1996 Ford Ranger when he reportedly experienced a medical emergency.
The vehicle struck the guardrail before rolling onto its driver's side in the travel lane. A juvenile passenger was also in the vehicle at the time of the incident, ISP confirmed.
Eastbound lanes were closed for about three hours as emergency responders attended to those involved and cleared the wreckage, ISP reported.
Authorities have been contacted regarding the condition of the driver and passenger, and information is pending.
