LEBANON, ME – A three-vehicle collision on Route 202 sent a 22-year-old woman to the hospital with serious injuries on Friday morning.

Authorities said the incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. near 899 Carl Broggi Highway, prompting a response from multiple agencies, including the Lebanon Fire Department and Maine State Police. Witnesses reported that a white Chevy Silverado, driven by Samantha Hobbs of North Berwick, crossed the center line, striking a blue Wrangler and a black Expedition traveling in the opposite direction.

Hobbs was from her vehicle during the crash and was subsequently flown by Life Flight of Maine to Portsmouth Hospital. Her current condition is not known.

Nestor Galarza, 50, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, and his daughter, Rosabella Galarza, were inside the Expedition, which caught fire as a result of the impact. First responders quickly extinguished the flames, and the family was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for treatment. All members of the Galarza family, including Kelly Galarza, 50, were later released with no serious injuries.

Authorities confirmed that the Galarza family was traveling with three dogs and a cat, all of which were unharmed. The Lebanon Control Officer assisted with securing the pets.

The Maine Department of Transportation temporarily closed Carl Broggi Highway for approximately two hours while emergency crews managed the situation. The cause of Hobbs' vehicle crossing into oncoming traffic remains under investigation by the Maine State Police.
