Man Dies in Fiery Crash in Hancock County
HANCOCK COUNTY, Iowa — A man died in a fiery truck crash on James Avenue in Hancock County on Monday.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, 59-year-old Dennis Doocy was driving north when his truck left the roadway, crashed through a fence, collided with a tree, and subsequently caught fire. Emergency responders found Doocy deceased at the scene.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
