Three Firefighters Killed in Vehicle Crash in Washington State
SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A tragic vehicle crash claimed the lives of three firefighters on Saturday afternoon while they were responding to a wildfire. The incident occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. near Highway 2.
According to authorities, the vehicle, part of a firefighting convoy, lost control while navigating the area engulfed in flames. In addition to the fatalities, two other firefighters sustained serious injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
