RUTHERFORD CO., Tenn. (WTVF) — A serious injury crash occurred on Franklin Road near Royal Glen Boulevard on October 6, 2023, around 2:41 p.m., according to the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities reported that multiple vehicles were involved, and LifeFlight is en route to assist with serious injuries at the scene. Paramedics are currently treating patients.
Traffic delays are expected in the area. The sheriff's office advised motorists to use Interstate 840 as an alternate route.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the crash.
