TAMWORTH, NH — A Massachusetts man died in a head-on collision involving two SUVs on Route 16 Monday afternoon, authorities said.
Juan Gabarro, 46, of Newton, was a passenger in a Nissan Rogue that collided with a Subaru Forester near Maple Road at approximately 2:41 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to New Hampshire State Police, neither driver sustained injuries. Investigators believe the Subaru crossed the center median before the crash.
