RACELAND, La. — A Raceland man has died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash on Louisiana Highway 308 in April.
According to Louisiana State Police, the incident occurred on April 15 near Triple Oaks Drive. Walter Foran, 73, was riding his motorcycle northbound when a vehicle attempted to turn left from Triple Oaks Drive onto the highway.
Authorities said the car failed to yield, entering the roadway and colliding with Foran's motorcycle. He sustained serious injuries and was transported to an out-of-area hospital. Troopers confirmed that Foran died from his injuries on May 2.
The crash remains under investigation by law enforcement.
