MILLSBORO, DE – A single-car crash on Legion Road killed a 60-year-old man late Friday night.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at 11:50 p.m. on February 11. Vincent Spinelli was driving southbound in an Audi A4 when he failed to negotiate a sharp left curve near Buttercream Hills.
Police report that the vehicle left the west edge of the roadway, struck a concrete culvert pipe, and subsequently overturned after hitting a row of trees. Spinelli was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
