CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (WSYX) — A juvenile was killed and three others were seriously injured in a car crash in Ross County on Monday morning.
According to the Ohio Highway Patrol (OSHP), Christian Griesheimer, 27, of Chillicothe, was driving a 2020 Toyota Corolla with four juveniles when the vehicle veered off Black Run Road, west of State Route 772, at approximately 7:33 a.m.
The car struck a utility pole guywire, collided with a tree, hit a concrete retaining wall, and then crashed into another tree. All five individuals were transported to Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, where one juvenile was pronounced dead. Griesheimer and two other juveniles sustained serious injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
