One driver was killed and another injured in a two-vehicle crash on East Innis Avenue in Columbus on Oct. 24, 2025.
According to the Columbus Police Accident Investigation Unit, the collision occurred at approximately 4:38 p.m. when a westbound Honda Civic collided with an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup truck just east of Kelsey Avenue.
Both drivers were transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, where the driver of the Honda was later pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification. The driver of the Chevrolet remained hospitalized in stable condition.
This incident marks the second fatal crash in Columbus within 48 hours. On Oct. 22, an adult was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle that crashed into a stopped car in the Easton area. Authorities stated the victim was pronounced dead at Mt. Carmel St. Ann's Hospital at 1:16 p.m. on Oct. 24, though their identity has not yet been released.
