Pedestrian Fatality Reported Near Denver International Airport
DENVER, CO — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night near Tower Road and 69th Avenue, approximately 3 miles from Denver International Airport.
The Denver Police Department reported the incident at 11:17 p.m. Responding paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital, where the individual later died. The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner is set to release the victim's identity and cause of death at a later time.
Authorities stated that the pedestrian was reportedly crossing outside of the designated crosswalk at the time of the accident. An investigation is ongoing.
