Driver Rescued Following Single-Vehicle Crash in Logan Canyon.

LOGAN, Utah (KUTV) — A driver was rescued after a crash that nearly sent a into the Logan River on Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency crews with the Logan City to the incident at 2:41 p.m. on August 5, along Highway 89 in Logan Canyon.

Upon arrival near Temple Peak, responders found the vehicle off the road, entangled in bushes adjacent to the river. The driver, the sole occupant, was assisted out of the vehicle and treated by medical personnel on-site.

Authorities did not release the driver's identity or confirm what led to the vehicle leaving the roadway. No injuries or fatalities were reported.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
