Washburn Coach Involved in Crash on I-70, No Serious Injuries Reported
TOPEKA, Kan. – A vehicle crash involving Washburn University men's basketball coach was reported on I-70 near mile marker 359 at approximately 2:41 p.m. today.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, two vehicles were involved in the incident. Emergency responders arrived on the scene, and while there were minor injuries, no fatalities were reported.
Authorities said one vehicle would require towing from the scene, leading to temporary lane closures on the westbound side of the highway.
