Nine Injured in H-2 Freeway Collision Near Waipio
A two-car crash on the H-2 Freeway near Waipio sent nine people to the hospital Saturday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to the scene at approximately 2:41 p.m. Witnesses reported multiple children among those injured. Four individuals, including two teenagers, were hospitalized in serious condition.
According to authorities, the collision occurred near the Ka Uka Blvd exit. First responders provided medical aid on-site before transporting the injured to local hospitals.
