Mount Morris Man Dies in Early Morning Crash
MOUNT MORRIS, Ill. — A Mount Morris man died in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.
At approximately 2:00 a.m., 49-year-old Bradley Acaley was driving south on Prairie Road near S. Main Street when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to roll over. He was the sole occupant of the car.
First responders arrived on the scene to find Acaley unconscious. Medical personnel attempted to revive him; however, he was pronounced dead shortly before 3:00 a.m.
An autopsy revealed that Acaley succumbed to blunt head trauma sustained in the crash.
The Winnebago County Coroner's Office and the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office are conducting an investigation into the incident.
