Two Dead in I-25 Crash Early Friday Morning
DENVER — Two women were killed in a crash on northbound Interstate 25 at Santa Fe Drive early Friday, according to the Denver Police Department (DPD).
The collision occurred around 2:57 a.m. near 6th Avenue, prompting a closure of northbound I-25 between Santa Fe Drive and 6th Avenue for nearly four hours. The highway reopened around 6:30 a.m.
Both victims were driving at the time of the incident and were pronounced dead at the scene. No other individuals were reported injured.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, authorities said.
