STEPHENS COUNTY, Okla. (KOKH) — Two individuals died in a single-vehicle crash on Hwy 7 at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
Emergency crews responded to the accident near 6 Mile Rd. According to investigators, the vehicle was traveling westbound when it veered off the roadway for unknown reasons.
The vehicle rolled multiple times before coming to rest off the road. Authorities confirmed that both occupants, 65-year-old Lena McQuillian and 34-year-old April McQuillian, were ejected from the vehicle and subsequently died from their injuries.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing. No further details regarding lane closures or emergency response agencies have been released.
