Beloit Highway Crash Blocks Traffic, Lane Closures Expected
BELOIT, Wis. (WKOW) — A crash on U.S. Highway 51 has shut down all lanes in both directions near East Centre Street as of 10 a.m. Thursday.
According to the Rock County Sheriff's Department, the highway is closed between Philhower and Azalea Streets. Emergency responders are on the scene, and the closure is expected to last approximately two hours.
At this time, there are no reports of injuries or fatalities. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. Traffic diversion measures are being implemented to manage congestion in the area.
