LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man died in a two-vehicle crash Monday night in the Algonquin neighborhood.
According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of W Lee Street and McCloskey Avenue around 7:40 p.m. The crash involved a pickup truck driven by a woman who reportedly ran a stop sign, colliding with a Mustang. The impact caused the Mustang to strike a parked vehicle.
The driver of the Mustang was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not confirmed if the woman sustained any injuries.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is conducting an ongoing investigation, and charges against the woman are pending. Further details will be released as the investigation continues.
