Three Victims Identified in Fatal Plane Crash Near Seely Lake
Three individuals died in a plane crash on Friday evening, northeast of Seely Lake, according to authorities.
The crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. when a small aircraft went down in a wooded area. The victims, identified by Alabama's Sanders Aviation, were all confirmed dead at the scene. Their names have not yet been released pending notification of family members.
Emergency services from the Missoula County Sheriff's Office, along with local fire units, responded to the incident shortly after it was reported. Search and rescue teams worked into the night to secure the site and assist with recovery efforts.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has initiated an investigation into the cause of the crash. Officials have stated that no other aircraft were involved, and weather conditions at the time were reported to be clear.
