SHIVELY, Ky. — A TARC stop collision on May 29 resulted in two fatalities and several injuries, authorities confirmed.

According to the SHIVELY POLICE DEPARTMENT, Kevin Moore, 32, ran a red light at Dixie Highway and Rockford Lane, colliding with another vehicle. The impact led Moore to veer onto the sidewalk, striking individuals at the bus stop.

Danielle Cordes, 43, died at the scene; Jasmine Hereford, 28, succumbed to her injuries two days later at a local hospital. Three additional individuals sustained injuries.

Moore faces multiple charges, including two counts of murder and DUI. His case is scheduled for a grand jury appearance next month.

Emergency services responded promptly, and multiple 911 calls were made from witnesses, emphasizing the urgency of the situation. Authorities continue to investigate the incident, with details expected to unfold as the case progresses.
