KAPOLEI, Hawaii (Island News) — A 65-year-old woman is in critical condition after a single-car crash at Ka Makana Alii on Friday, June 12.
The accident occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Kapolei Parkway, near the shopping center. Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provided advanced life support on scene before transporting the woman to an emergency room.
A man in his 70s suffered minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital, while a man in his 20s declined hospitalization after being evaluated by EMS.
According to police, the exit from the mall near California Pizza Kitchen was closed during the emergency response.
Authorities have not confirmed whether speed, alcohol, or drugs were factors in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
