JOHNSTON, R.I. (WJAR) — A 19-year-old was arrested early Saturday after a car crash involving a utility pole on Greenville Avenue.
Elvis Goins was charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and refusal to submit to a chemical test around 2 a.m. Authorities reported that his vehicle rolled over after colliding with the utility pole.
According to police, Goins exhibited multiple signs of impairment when they arrived at the scene. He was transported to the hospital for his injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional injuries to other parties have been reported.
