BISMARCK, N.D. — A two-vehicle crash on Friday, October 2, resulted in the death of a 16-year-old girl in Bismarck.

The collision occurred around 8:35 p.m. at the intersection of West Main Avenue and Missouri Avenue. A westbound Infiniti struck the passenger side of a Chevy Equinox that was turning left onto Missouri Avenue.

The Infiniti had one driver, while the Equinox contained three occupants. Multiple injuries were reported, and the 16-year-old was at a local hospital.

The Bismarck Police Department's Traffic Unit stated that speed may have been a contributing factor. The incident is under ongoing investigation.

Authorities have not released the identities of those involved as they work to notify next of kin. Additional information regarding the crash is expected to be made public on Monday.
