Nemaha County, KS. – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday morning near Sabetha in Nemaha County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 11:40 a.m. on W Road near U36 Highway.
A 2017 Ram truck occupied by two people was traveling southbound on W Rd when it failed to stop at the stop sign and hit a 2017 Honda CR-V traveling Westbound on U36 Highway.
A 35-year-old man in the Honda was killed in the accident.
Both the driver and passenger of the Ram were taken to Hiawatha Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Honda was hospitalized with serious injuries while another passenger, a 3-year-old, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
