La Plata, MD. – One person was killed in a car crash that happened near La Plata on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the police, the accident happened on Rosewick Road near Rosewick Corner Place at around 4:07 p.m.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision.
One person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated. Sadly, the patient died at the accident scene.
A 42-year-old man was transported to UM Charles Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
