Woman killed, two injured in Berkshire Township crash in Delaware County

Delaware County, Ohio — On June 17, 2026, a two-vehicle crash in Berkshire Township left one woman dead and another critically injured, authorities said.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 59-year-old Florida man driving a G-Series north on State Route 3 failed to stop at a red light at South Galena Road.

A Civic traveling east on South Galena Road struck the , and both vehicles left the roadway to the northeast side of the intersection, authorities said.

Medics took passenger Teresa D. Moore, 53, of McConnelsville, to Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital, where she died from her injuries, according to the Highway Patrol.

Another passenger from the Honda was transported to Riverside Medical Center in critical condition. Medics treated the van driver at the scene, authorities said.

Moore was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the Highway Patrol.

The Highway Patrol did not say whether charges would be filed. The crash remains under investigation.
