A 57-year-old woman died after a two-vehicle collision on Dixie Highway in Walton just before 9 p.m. Sept. 23, authorities said.
According to the Kenton County Police Department, Sherry Lingar, 57, of Crittenden, was southbound on Dixie Highway when a vehicle driven by Myron Rust, 80, of Walton, crossed the center line and struck her.
Lingar was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
Authorities said they have not released whether Rust was injured, and no charges have been announced. The crash remains under investigation by the Kenton County Police Department.
