Delaware County, Ohio — A driver was indicted Thursday in a Feb. 27 fatal e-scooter collision on State Route 750, authorities said.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the victim, 17-year-old Anastasia Jehorek, was riding in the side safety lane when a vehicle driven by Aviv Bukobza left its lane and struck her.
Authorities said Bukobza was indicted on aggravated vehicular homicide, reckless homicide, and vehicular manslaughter.
Troopers said roadway evidence, including tire scuff marks from both vehicles, indicated the vehicle left its lane.
An arraignment date has not been set.
