A woman died in a three-vehicle accident in Bullock County on December 8.

According to Alabama State Troopers, 61-year-old Maria Perez of Columbus, Georgia, was driving a small that collided head-on with a operated by 64-year-old Eric Ousley of Union Springs. The impact caused Perez's to be struck by another vehicle driven by 23-year-old Kelsey Bozeman of Fitzpatrick.

Authorities reported that Perez was at the scene, while Ousley and Bozeman were transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for medical treatment.

The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Alabama Highway 51, approximately three miles west of Hurtsboro.

The crash remains under investigation. Lane closures were reported following the incident as emergency services responded to the scene.
