Woman Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Bullock County

A woman died in a three-vehicle accident in Bullock County on December 8.
According to Alabama State Troopers, 61-year-old Maria Perez of Columbus, Georgia, was driving a small SUV that collided head-on with a car operated by 64-year-old Eric Ousley of Union Springs. The impact caused Perez's SUV to be struck by another vehicle driven by 23-year-old Kelsey Bozeman of Fitzpatrick.
Authorities reported that Perez was pronounced dead at the scene, while Ousley and Bozeman were transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for medical treatment.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Alabama Highway 51, approximately three miles west of Hurtsboro.
The crash remains under investigation. Lane closures were reported following the incident as emergency services responded to the scene.
