Woman Dies Days After I-64 Crash Involving Semi in Louisville
LOUISVILLE, KY — A woman has died following a crash involving a semi-truck and two passenger vehicles on I-64 west.
According to TRIMARC, the incident occurred at 3:45 p.m. on Friday at the 19.6-mile marker, near English Station Road. The collision temporarily closed all lanes.
Louisville Metro Police reported that the woman sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. She was pronounced dead on Sunday; her identity has not been disclosed.
The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating the crash, and the cause remains unclear. All lanes of the interstate reopened shortly after 7 p.m. on Friday.
