A wrong-way crash late Friday night on U.S. 95 near Mountain resulted in two fatalities and one critical injury, leading to lane closures for investigation.

Nevada Highway Patrol responded to the incident at 11:28 p.m. Friday on northbound U.S. 95 at mile marker 99. According to authorities, the collision involved an traveling the wrong way and a southbound sedan.

Both drivers were at the scene. The identity of the driver has not been confirmed due to a , while the driver of the sedan was identified as an adult male. A passenger in the sedan was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
