KALISPELL, Mont. — A woman convicted in a school bus stop crash is returning to court accused of violating her probation.
Patricia Ann Berliner received a six-year deferred sentence in 2021 after failing to yield to a school bus in 2019. She struck 6-year-old Jordana Hubble as the child was getting off the bus, resulting in serious brain injuries.
New court documents indicate Berliner failed to check in with her probation officer and left the state without permission, both violations of her probation terms. She is scheduled to appear in Flathead County District Court on May 7 for a petition to revoke her sentence.
According to court records, Berliner's probation is set to continue until June 2027.
