MADISON (WKOW) — A technical glitch affected the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources' (DNR) Go Wild website on Monday, disrupting turkey license purchases for residents.

According to DNR spokesperson Molly Meister, the website encountered payment processing errors earlier in the day. “Go Wild and the payment processing system are back to working as expected,” Meister confirmed.

The DNR expressed regret for the inconvenience caused by the issue. “We are sorry for the inconvenience and issues that this may have caused,” Meister added.

While the system is operational again, the DNR cannot guarantee the availability of bonus turkey harvest authorizations. Meister noted, “Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that customers will receive a bonus turkey harvest authorization of their choice.”

Additional turkey hunting opportunities will be available for sale throughout the week, providing residents with further chances to secure licenses.
