Wadena Woman Killed in Cass County Two-Vehicle Collision.

BRAINERD — A two-vehicle collision on Highway 210 in Cass County left one woman dead Friday, Oct. 25.

The crash occurred at 10:58 a.m. at Milepost 114 in Sylvan Township, west of Baxter, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Amber Marie Cloutier, 31, of Wadena, was driving a Chevy Monte Carlo and was exiting Seacryville Road Southwest onto Highway 210 when her vehicle was struck by a Elantra driven by 56-year-old Leesa Jean Peacock from Motley. Both vehicles came to rest in the south ditch of Highway 210.

Cloutier, who was not wearing a seat belt, succumbed to her injuries at the scene, authorities said. Peacock sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.

Emergency response included the Cass County Sheriff's Office, the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office, and North Ambulance. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.

No lane closures or traffic disruptions were reported in the aftermath of the incident.
