Man Killed After Stolen Vehicle Crash in Central Valley
Central Valley, NV — A man was killed after a stolen vehicle crashed into a pole on Saturday evening.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Main Street near 5th Avenue. Witnesses reported that the suspect allegedly stole a running car before losing control and colliding with a utility pole.
Emergency responders from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and Fire Department arrived at the scene shortly after the crash. Paramedics pronounced the man, whose identity has not yet been released, dead at the location.
Authorities said the suspect fled the scene on foot but was apprehended shortly after. No additional injuries were reported.
Main Street was closed in both directions for approximately two hours while investigators processed the scene and cleared debris. The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
