Richford Motorcycle Crash Leaves Rider Critically Injured
RICHFORD, VT — A 20-year-old man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash involving a tractor-trailer on Troy Street on Monday at approximately 5:13 p.m., according to State Police.
Adam Blodgett, of Fairfax, reportedly lost control of his Suzuki GSX-R600 while traveling east, crossing left of center and colliding with an International LT62F Truck, which was heading west. Blodgett was pinned beneath the truck and required rescue by first responders, who transported him to the University of Vermont Medical Center. He is currently in critical yet stable condition.
The truck driver, identified as 62-year-old Mark McNally of Woodbury, was unharmed in the incident.
