GREENACRES, Fla. — A Learjet 60 crashed Sunday afternoon in a residential area of Greenacres, igniting a fire and closing S. Military Trail.
According to authorities, the aircraft went down near S. Military Trail and Diamond Road, prompting a large emergency response.
Authorities said all lanes on S. Military Trail were shut in both directions as crews responded and secured the area.
Officials have not released the number of occupants or any information on injuries or fatalities.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, authorities said.
