Two Dead in State Route 50 Collision Near Oak Grove
OAK GROVE, MO — Two occupants were pronounced dead at the scene of a vehicle crash on State Route 50 on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. involving a single vehicle. The vehicle was traveling eastbound when it lost control and overturned, ejecting both occupants.
Witnesses reported that emergency responders from local fire and police departments arrived quickly, providing medical aid. Both individuals, ages 17 and 18, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities closed multiple lanes for approximately four hours while the scene was investigated and cleared. The vehicle was towed from the location.
