A Lee's Summit woman died following a multi-vehicle crash near the U.S. 69 interchange in Overland Park at approximately 2:41 p.m. on October 10.
According to authorities, the woman's vehicle collided with a crash cushion, triggering the incident. Two additional vehicles were involved in the crash.
Emergency responders from the Overland Park Police Department and Johnson County Med-Act provided medical aid at the scene. The woman was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Authorities reported that one additional occupant suffered injuries, but specifics on their condition remain unavailable.
