Two killed in Arkansas crash after deer collides with car.

LITTLE ROCK — Two individuals died Thursday afternoon after their vehicle collided with a deer in mid-air, according to an Arkansas State Police report.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Highway 67 near mile marker 123. Authorities confirmed that the deer struck the vehicle, leading it to crash and overturn.

Emergency responders from the Arkansas Department of Transportation and local fire departments were on the scene. First responders pronounced both victims dead at the site of the accident.

Currently, investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the incident. Traffic was briefly disrupted, with lane closures in effect during the emergency response and investigation. No other vehicles were involved, and there were no additional injuries reported.
