ROCKFORD, Ill. — Two individuals sustained injuries in a significant vehicle crash on Monday night.
Authorities reported the incident occurred at the intersection of Trask Bridge Road and North Meridian Road. The intersection is currently closed, and the public is advised to avoid the area.
According to the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office, two people were injured, with one suffering serious injuries and subsequently airlifted from the scene.
The Major Crash Assistance Team has been deployed to investigate the incident. No further details have been released at this time.
