Two people were injured in a crash on US20 in Canyon County on Monday afternoon.

According to the Idaho State Police, the incident occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. near mile marker 1. A Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling eastbound, lawfully passing a semi-truck when the rider lost control after hitting an oil slick, resulting in the motorcycle crashing and stopping on the shoulder.

Authorities confirmed the rider, a 57-year-old man, and his passenger, a 55-year-old woman, both from Woodinville, WA, were wearing helmets at the time of the accident. The man was transported by ground ambulance while the woman was to a local hospital. Their current conditions remain unknown.
