BROCKTON, Mass. —
Two people were hospitalized Tuesday night following a motorcycle crash on Ames Street.
The collision occurred around 7:33 p.m. near 115 Ames St., involving a Yamaha motorcycle and a Mercedes C350.
Brockton Police arrived minutes later to find both vehicles with significant front-end damage. Witnesses reported that two men on motorcycles were riding when one collided with the car.
A resident, an off-duty hospital worker, administered CPR to the injured motorcyclist until emergency services arrived. The man was transported to an area hospital, with his condition currently unknown.
Authorities identified the driver of the Mercedes as a young woman who appeared visibly shaken. She was also taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
Local residents noted frequent speeding on Ames Street. The incident remains under investigation by Brockton Police.
