Two dead after head-on collision on Route 6A in Brewster, Massachusetts, Thursday night.

The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m., involving two vehicles. A 24-year-old woman from Brewster and a 38-year-old man from Truro were the sole occupants.
Emergency crews reported extensive front-end damage, complicating access to the victims. Both were trapped inside their vehicles following the collision.
Brewster Police confirmed the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the man was transported to Cape Cod Hospital, where he later died.
Firefighters from Orleans, Harwich, and Eastham responded to assist Brewster crews, with difficulties noted in reaching the victims due to the severity of the crash.
As dawn broke, debris and fuel stains remained at the site, with no visible skid marks indicating attempts to brake.
Authorities have not released the identities of the deceased. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
